The team at DataFort is passionate about technology and fanatical about serving our customers. When we started the business over 20 years ago we were one of the first companies in the UK to provide data centre streaming backup. Why? Because the founders had been backing up critical code to tape and the backups kept failing. With the introduction of broadband and data centre accessibility on the rise we knew there was an opportunity to create a service that mirrored what banks and enterprise level companies had started to do – streaming data to data centres so that virtual copies of those servers could be run from the data centre during periods of emergency. It was a short step to providing full cloud services as well. In all cases, our solutions made our customers safer, more productive and profitable.
